MAC opens door to smaller businesses with land deals
The Metropolitan Airports Commission is opening the door for small and local business participation as it pitches commercial development opportunities on MAC-owned land across the Twin Cities.
So says Blaine resident Mike Breese, CEO of PinPoint Community Development, who is bringing a mix of new uses to a 3-acre, MAC-owned property at 105th Avenue and Radisson Road in Blaine, a high-profile site near the Anoka County-Blaine Airport and the National Sports Center.
Breese said he negotiated with the MAC for about eight months on a long-term land lease for his two-phase National Sports Village project, which will eventually include everything from a “pizza pub” and a Mexican restaurant to a Minnesota Hockey Hall of Fame
